If it's too good to be true, it can't be true. There's gotta be a Murphy's Law about that.

Hilarious! Er, I mean... I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing WITH you. :D

I have a red plastic gas can which we use to keep gas on hand for the lawn mower. I had to go fill it up just the other day in fact. Thank goodness it's lo-tech because I know I wouldn't have figured out your type of contraption. I'm thinking you should duct-tape a funnel to the side of your can for future incidents.

I never knew you wanted to be James Bond.

I love this story, it reminds me of Stopping By The Woods On A Snowy Evening. I guess your Grandfather's mules wouldn't have had those nice little harness bells though, and I don't know what Robert Frost would have done with the buzz saw since it's rather too loud for sleepy contemplation.

National Geographic, Sibley, what do they know? You and Mom are obviously at an advanced level of birding and need a more technical guide. One that has chapters such as Hole-in-the-Ozone-Layer and Other Mutations, and Abducted By Aliens: Bird Experiments Gone Wrong.

Oliver,

Please think back on our experiences, especially birdwatching near water. I'm confident you will remember that most of the birds you believe are unknown are really Snipes.

Ormond,

Somehow it makes me think of Zoo Tycoon. The game comes complete with tiny zoo customers crawling around the paths like ants. But every one is accounted for! If you point the cursor at the little guy, the Comnputer will give you a complete report on him. This is true even when there are hundreds of customers in the zoo.

Someone has proposed that, like the Zoo, the world was created eons ago by a computer program, and that we are only part of a vast algorithm.

Now, I ask you--is there a big Computer somewhere where if you could just log on, you could point the cursor at anyone on earth, anywhere, and ge a complete report on that person?

I wonder how Erika is doing today. Did she get a raise, or did she quit?

Oliver,
Nice commentary on receipts. What you missed is that each item on your receipt will result in an individual coupon in your mail boxl Hopefully not. but you cannot be too sure.

Hi! Welcome to the world of blogging. I enjoyed the description of the wildlife at Sequoyah State Park, and the photos of the wild turkeys in the Gallery.
